During our stay, the breakfast staff was unprofessional and disorganized. We felt overlooked and unimportant when we were approached rudely about our late checkout. It was frustrating to be reminded of our checkout status while trying to enjoy our last moments at the hotel. Overall, these experiences really spoiled what should have been a relaxing stay.

Our family with three young children had an unforgettable stay! The staff arranged a fantastic personalized tour to the Totumo Mud Volcano that our kids loved, and the space was perfect for us. The service was as friendly as it gets.
My kids wished there were more activities for them.

would stay here again
The junior suite was amazing with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Loved the spacious sofa bed and TV. Breakfast had fresh fruits, warm croissants, and yummy organic juices. The outdoor swimming pool was a great escape from the heat. The staff was super helpful in arranging bike rentals to explore Cartagena.

The hotel occupies a stunning 18th-century palace, blending colonial elegance with modern updates. My Junior Suite featured high ceilings, period furnishings, and a beautifully renovated bathroom with impressive water pressure, making it a comfort amid historical surroundings.
Prices reflect European standards, making them feel inflated compared to local offerings—something to consider. The restaurant could benefit from incorporating a broader array of local dishes to enhance the dining experience. Additionally, come prepared for mosquitoes if you're staying on the ground floor. this appears common in the area, not just at this hotel.

I enjoyed the elegant decor and the spacious courtyards at Casa Pestagua. The lush gardens created a cozy atmosphere. The staff made me feel like I was staying with friends, remembering my name and being attentive at all times. Breakfast served in the courtyard was a highlight, with a diverse menu and delicious options. The location was fantastic, walking distance to great restaurants and shops. However, I wished for more shaded areas by the pool to fully relax under the sun. Despite that, the tranquility of the pool area was a nice escape from the bustling city. The room was beautifully furnished and clean, and the attention to detail in the amenities made my stay special. It felt luxurious, yet welcoming.
